Top Ten Tuesday

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week bloggers post a top ten list related to a specific theme. This week's theme is Top Ten Books about Friendship. All links lead to GoodReads.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

This book is about Finn's adventures and his relationship with an escaped slave.
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

Although this book does focus on a romantic relationship, at its core, this book is about a friendship and everything that goes with it.
Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling

This entire series but especially the first book is all about Harry making friends (and going on adventures).
The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald

Although Nick and Jay don't have a long or deep friendship, Nick does care greatly for Jay.
Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson

This was the first book to make me cry. This book is quite good, but quite sad too.
His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik

This book (and series) is about a relationship between a soldier and his dragon.
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

This is another book with a romantic relationship but at its core is a book about a group of friends.
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch

Jean and Locke are fantastic friends. I read these books for their friendship just as much as I read this series for the cons.
Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan
This book is focuses on a mystery, but some great friendships are also made on the pages.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
This book is about a boy name Nobody and his friendships with those who live in the cemetery.
