Life has been pretty uneventful this week. I have just been focused on "grown-up chores." I've been working on my dissertation. I just need to do one last big push on this week, and then I am going to send it off and hopefully be done with it. I should be catching up on comments and posts by the end of this week. On Saturday, my husband and I did our taxes and signed our new lease. Lunabelle, our kitty, continues to be completely adorable. :)

I received two ARCs this week. First, I received Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson from Tor Books. Second, I received The Lascar's Dagger by Glenda Larke from Orbit Books
Bought
I bought three books this week. First, I bough 11/22/63 by Stephen King. It is on sale for $2.99 on Amazon (US) as of writing this post. Second, I supported Gail Carriger's Kickstarter a few months ago. I got the ebook for her sci-fi book Crudrat and an audio version of her short story Fairy Debt.
Currently Reading
Lovecraft's Monsters edited by Ellen Datlow: This is an interesting collection of tales.
Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson: This is soooooo good!
Packing for Mars by Mary Roach: I am reading this book for my county's read-a-long.
Altered Carbon by Richard K Morgan: I am reading this one for the Sword & Laser book club. It is an interesting noir detective tale.
A Dance with Dragons by GRR Martin: This is on the back burner until I finish Words of Radiance.
