Discworld is another series that I have been meaning to read.
I have been intending to read The Handmaid's Tale for forever.
Cussler's book seem like they would appeal to me. They sound like a lot of fun. Dirk Pitt, his main character, is a modern day Indiana Jones. I don't know why I never read these books.
8. John Grisham
My mom has read most of his books, and she has enjoyed most of them. Even though Grisham's books were in the house, I never read any of them. I liked the movies, but I wasn't interested in reading books about lawyers.
9. Patricia Briggs
I have heard great things about the Mercy Thompson series, but I just haven't had time to start it.
10. James Patterson
James Patterson has written (and has co-written) a ton of books over the years. They just never really called to me.
