Sunday Update - 7/13

Sunday Update

Welcome to my edition of the Caffeinated Book Reviewer's Sunday Post meme and Tynga's Reviews' Stacking the Shelves meme. Check out what I have been doing this week (and will do next week) and my book haul.

I apologize for the delay in the post. Yesterday was so busy, and I got distracted. My husband spent the bulk of the day at the local arts festival. I should also apologize for posting the wrong meme posts this week. I started a new work schedule, and I have been super sleep deprived. Now that I am more familiar with the work schedule, I think things should go back to normal.

I have been continuing to read graphic novels like crazy, but I think I am going to start getting back into novels again. It is nice to pick up one book and know that the entire story is in that book, no more ten volume stories for me thank you very much. With that said, you should totally read Fables. It is an amazing comic.

Book Haul

From the Library
Landline by Rainbow Rowell

I picked up Landline by Rainbow Rowell. I must admit that I was a bit surprised with how thin this book is. I am looking forward to reading it even though I have been seeing some mixed reviews.

Currently Reading

Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Thomas Sweterlisch: I haven't been reading this book too quickly, but I am definitely enjoying it. I am trying to read down the library haul of graphic novels.
