1. The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas
I read this book as a teenager, and I loved it. It had everything, romance, adventure, and political intrigue!

2. Twas the Night before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore
I read this book every Christmas Eve. It is a favorite tradition.

3. Dracula by Bram Stoker
I have read this book two or three times now, and I love it more each time. This is such a clever book that holds up to the test of time.

4. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
I read this book in high school for English AP. I really enjoyed it. My love of Russian literature and crime stories came together with this one.

5. Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling
My mom used to read this stories to me as a child, so they have a special place in my heart.

6. Washington Square by Henry James
I read this book as a teenager, and I remember just loving it. It is not a happy tale at all, but it just spoke to me.

7. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
I just reread Pride & Prejudice, and it was better than I remembered. I can appreciate why this book is such a beloved classic.

8. Much Ado about Nothing by William Shakespeare
This is my favorite Shakespearean play. I eat up all of the remakes of this play.

9. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
I haven't reread this book, since I was a teenager, but it still holds a special place in my heart.

10. Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
I love mystery stories, and Doyle can write an intriguing story. When I want a mystery, I always go for Doyle.
