Welcome to my edition of the Caffeinated Book Reviewer's Sunday Post meme and Tynga's Reviews' Stacking the Shelves meme. Check out what I have been doing this week (and will do next week) and my book haul.
I have been getting so behind on all of my book chores. I haven't been keeping good records of the books that I have been reading recently. I also have gotten back into the bad habit of writing my blog posts the day before they need to be posted. This week I need to get back on the straight and narrow. I feel like I am always writing blog posts. It is a little past the middle of the year, so it makes sense that a lot of my 2014 resolutions are slipping from my grasp. I am going to have to review them this week. As an aside, I will be posting new Thoughtful Thursday posts later today.
By the way, I have started using the most fantastic to do app. It is called ToDoist.com. There are a ton of great list apps out there. The reason that I love this one is that the recurring options are better than any other one that I have seen. I am using the free version. The paid version has tools that some of the other free to do apps have; however, I don't need a super fancy app, I just need one with fantastic recurring options. For example, I can set up items to recur on the 1st of every month, every 3 months starting on the 15th, every 3 months starting after I complete the task for the first time, etc. You can also share to do lists for free. I have it on my android phone and on chrome.

Review Copies
Viking was very kind and sent me a copy of The Magician's Land by Lev Grossman. I have been looking forward to reading it for forever. I will have a review out on August 5th (publication day). There will also be a giveaway for your very own copy.
Currently Reading
Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King: I have been listening to this book during my commute. It is interesting so far. It is more of a crime thriller than what I was expecting.
Read This Week
I am failing at keeping a good list of books that I read for the week. I blame it on the fact that I have been reading graphic novels and that I can read a stack in a day. Suffice it to say, I have been reading lots of Fables by Bill Willingham.
