TTT: Top Ten Books I've Read This Year So Far

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week bloggers post a top ten list related to a specific theme. So I made a mistake and did the wrong TTT. Clearly, I am still a bit sleep deprived from a long drive back from Cape Cod. My post is on the Top Ten Books I've Read This Year So Far. All links lead to GoodReads.

This book has been described as Cast Away on Mars, and this description is not too far off. This is such a fun, SF survival story. I loved the audio book.

I thought that this was just going to be another coming-of-age story, but I was wrong. Instead of lots of fighting, I got court intrigue instead. This book will definitely be reread.

This novella was totally adorable. If you are a fan of the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy, you need to read this fantastic tale of Zu and Mik's first date.

I love the Memoir of Lady Trent series so much! This was a great addition to the series. If you want a book about "realistic" dragons, this is the series for you.

I picked this audio book up on a lark. I am so glad that I did. I loved this book so much more than the movie, and I really enjoyed the movie.

I thought The Darkest Minds was an amazing first book in a series, but I thought it had a few problems. Never Fade dealt with all of my concerns. I can't wait for the next book!

I caught up on the entire Lunar Chronicles series this year. Although I enjoyed all of the books, Cinder is my favorite. If you like modernized fairy tales, this series is for you.

I loved this book so, so, so much. I enjoyed it even more than The Way of Kings, which also blew me away. If you want to read an epic fantasy series, The Stormlight Archive is the new series to start.

I don't care if you don't like graphic novels, you need to be reading this series. Every issue is better than the last. This is an amazing story about family and friendship.

This is another amazing graphic novel series. Volume 20 is coming out in September and there should only be one or two more volumes left (the series will end with issue 150). This series is the best fairy tale retelling that I have ever read. The universe is amazing. Fables is what Once Upon a Time wants to be.
