I read this book as a teenager, and I loved it. It had everything, romance, adventure, and political intrigue!

I read this book every Christmas Eve. It is a favorite tradition.

I have read this book two or three times now, and I love it more each time. This is such a clever book that holds up to the test of time.
4. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
I read this book in high school for English AP. I really enjoyed it. My love of Russian literature and crime stories came together with this one.

My mom used to read this stories to me as a child, so they have a special place in my heart.
6. Washington Square by Henry James
I read this book as a teenager, and I remember just loving it. It is not a happy tale at all, but it just spoke to me.
7. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
I just reread Pride & Prejudice, and it was better than I remembered. I can appreciate why this book is such a beloved classic.
8. Much Ado about Nothing by William Shakespeare
This is my favorite Shakespearean play. I eat up all of the remakes of this play.
9. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
I haven't reread this book, since I was a teenager, but it still holds a special place in my heart.
10. Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
I love mystery stories, and Doyle can write an intriguing story. When I want a mystery, I always go for Doyle.
