I need to read this series, and in fact own them all..LOL I like the quote!
LOL I like the quote too. I don't remember which book I'm on but I'm probably only a few books from finishing the series.
You should. They are so much fun. I also like the books better than the TV show. On the show, most of the characters seem dumb or silly. In the books, at least so far, the characters act much more "normal."
With over 10 books, I can understand not knowing which book you are on! I started book blogging and using GoodReads just to track what I have read. I can't remember which David Sedaris books I have read anymore.
This is a series I've been meaning to read for a while. Love the opening line - a note on the door can really be pretty ominous, especially when it's someone like Sookie!
I have the first book here collecting dust. I need to jump into the series. Everyone seems to love it!
This series is lots of fun. Some of my friends who are more "serious" with their SF&F didn't like it. I just love curling up with my knitting and a Sookie Stackhouse audio book on any given Saturday afternoon. I have heard tale that the series gets a bit silly later on, but right now I am really enjoying them. :)
Exactly! The last note on my door was from the mailman. He asked us to empty out our mailbox (my husband and I went on a mini-vacation and forgot to ask our friend to check our mail). There really wasn't anything scary about the notice at all. :)
