Fraterfest 2013 Wrap-Up
Posted in Read-a-Thon on 1:00 PM by UnknownFraterfest 2013 wrapped up yesterday, and boy did I have fun! :) I completed all of my goals, met lots of new friends, and even won some swag! Okay, let's discuss what happened in depth!
Books
I finished up Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris on Sunday. I am glad that I finished this book, because once I started prioritizing it, I couldn't stop listening to it. Now, I am anxious to start the next one, because some stuff went down at the end of Dead to the World. I am actually fairly spoiler free for this series, even though most people have read this series. I don't know what is going to happen.
I started and completed Boneshaker by Cherie Priest. This book started a bit slow; however, once Briar entered Seattle, the story picked up. This was a fun, zombie-filled book.
Challenges
I completed all of the challenges for Fraterfest 2013. I can't promise that all of my book cover entries were correct, but I at least guessed all of them. I am excited to find out what the answers were. I also really enjoyed the puzzle challenge and the drink and book pick challenge. I had lots of fun!
Blogs
I visited the blogs of all the other participants. It was really neat to see how diverse the book interests of the participants are. Yep, my feedly subscriptions have increased enormously.
Twitter Party
This was my first Twitter party, but it is definitely not my last! I like the idea of conversing with people over Twitter, but normally you don't get lots of contact at once. A Twitter party allows you to have a conversation with a group of people and let the world join in on your conversation. I should also say that I won some swag at the Twitter party. I can't wait to find out what it is!
Thank you Kimba, Chene, Berls, April, and Reanna for hosting and running this event!

Congrats on meeting all your goals! My subscriptions have really grown over the course o the readathon too! It's been great meeting so many new-to-me bloggers. And it was my first twitter party too, but boy did I have a blast :-) I hope to do this again next year!

Congrats on meeting your goals and winning some swag! I missed the twitter party as it happened at 2 am here by me and I was fast asleep...

I don't think I would have been in a partying mood at 2AM either. Hopefully we will be able to mingle at a different Twitter party! :)
