Fraterfest Drink & Book

With October comes the cold weather, this is the perfect time of year for a warm drink and a spooky book. My favorite drink for this time of year is hot chocolate. Because I am not a big kitchen person, when I am feeling especially creative, I warm up some milk, add hot chocolate powder mix, and add some mini-marshmallows on top. :)

This Halloween, I am excited to curl up with Parasite by Mira Grant. Feed was fantastic, so I am sure Parasite will be equally as impressive.

I am so incredibly jealous of you. You will not even believe it. :) I requested the ARC on NetGalley, but didn't get it. :( I then immediately but in a request with my library. I am first on the list for it. I am hoping that I can get it the same week that the book comes out. I just moved to PA and this is the first time that I am requesting a book that hasn't come out yet. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they don't have to wait until publication day to order it (my old library would sometimes get books out to patrons on publication day).

I totally understand about not being a Big Kitchen person. I am in the same boat. I Love hot chocolate. My favorite thing to do is go to TJMaxx and try all the new one on their shelves. Enjoy your reads!!

I am a Trader Joe's shopper too! The wine, the trail mix, the mango slices, and the bon bons. LOL!

I just tried the smores last weekend. They are delicious (and easier to make than the regular kind). My husband has to do the TJ shopping, because when I go there I just want to buy sweets!
