Dreamy December Days Challenge Day 1

Every day of the Dreamy December Days Read-a-Thon, there will be a challenge! Today's challenge question is what are the bookish merchandise or books that you would really love to receive this Christmas? This is was a surprisingly hard question for me, because I really have everything that I want. If I had a direct line to Santa and there was no money limit, here are some of my requests!

1. The British edition of the Harry Potter series as e-books. I have the British edition in hardback, and I have the American version as e-books, so this is one of my pie in the sky wishes. I have a hard time reading the American version knowing that the British version is the "original" version nowadays and the hardbacks are heavy! :)

2. An Audible subscription. I had an Audible subscription this past year, and it nicely complimented what my library didn't have in the form of audio books.

3. An iPod Touch. I can listen to Overdrive audio books on my iPod Shuffle, which is super convenient; however, it doesn't allow a lot of flexibility if I want to listen to different audio books at the same time. With an iPod Touch, I would be able to switch between audio books, because there is a screen on the device.

4. The new Kindle Paperwhite. I have a Paperwhite, but I would like the new one with access to GoodReads and the better light. I have heard that upgrading isn't a big deal, but if Santa brought it for me, I wouldn't complain!

5. I would also love advanced copies of books by Scott Lynch, Gail Carriger, GRR Martin, James SA Corey, and Naomi Novik, please.

Okay, let's talk realistic dreams now. I really have everything that I want. I had a hard time coming up with the last five ideas (okay, the Harry Potter books have been on my mind for a while). I would be happy with getting some fun bookmarks and a gift certificate to Amazon for the really good e-book deals.

I want the Harry Potter series in Hardback, but they're all too expensive for me. Are there big differences on the British and American versions?

I tried listening to audio books but I can't seem to focus on them. Haha!

I've been wanting a Kindle for the longest time, but I read that the charger gets easily busted. I ordered one and cancelled it because I was afraid it wouldn't last long and returning it would be difficult considering I live so far away from the US. What has been your experience on the device?

I also like getting Amazon GCs. Haha. I hope you get some of your wishes~ :D

LOL. He totally did. What I told him that I really want is for him to help me move my blog over to wordpress and pay the $13 so I can self-host the blog there. I refuse to spend the $13 myself. :)

I had an Audible subscription this year, and I loved it, but I have a hard time justifying the price to myself, but if someone else bought it for me... :)
