Dreamy December Days Challenge Day 2 & Update

Every day of the Dreamy December Days Read-a-Thon, there will be a challenge! Today's challenge question is where would you like to visit for the holidays? If I could visit anywhere for the holidays, I would go to the following places:

1. Hogwarts from the Harry Potter books series. Who wouldn't want to go to Hogwarts for the holidays? It looks so cute and cheery.

2. Enchanted Forest from the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. I would love to hang out with King Mendabar and Queen Cimorene. They have had lots of adventures, and I think I would be game to join them on their next one.

3. TARDIS from Doctor Who. For the final leg of my journey, I would just like to take a trip across time and space with the Doctor. We could hit the major moments in Earth's and other planets' histories.

Update

I am rocking my challenges so far! Hurray! I read Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Eight Volume 5, which was pretty good. I also read half of The Darkest Minds today. Dude, this book is so good! If I didn't have my knitting group tonight, I would have finished the book. I cannot wait to get my hands on Never Fade. I am still reading Insurgent, and it doesn't hold a candle to The Darkest Minds.

Let's all go to Hogwarts~ Haha. I haven't heard of number 2 but it sounds like something I should check out in the future. I'm not really sure I'd want to get on the Tardis. There are a lot of creepy stuff out there. XD

And wow, you're reading a lot already. Awesome! :D

Hogwarts! Great pick! Good luck with your reading. I loved The Darkest Minds! :) (and I'm a buffy fan as well!)

The reading definitely slowed down today. I had to get some stuff done. :) The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia Wrede is amazing. It is a YA, 4-book series that I read as a kid, and I still love them so much.

We should all go to Hogwarts! I am sure that we can get a group discount, if we go together. :)

Excellent! With all the students at home, we could stay in the houses. I would loved to visit Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. :)

The Darkest Minds is so much better than I was expecting. It grabbed me from the beginning.

Awesome picks! I think I'd have to stow away in your luggage to Hogwarts and you could leave me there. I've always felt that my letter must have just gotten lost ;) Good luck with your reading, sounds like you're doing great! (I need to get to Buffy Season 8 still)

I feel the same way about Hogwarts. Thank goodness I wasn't ten when the series started, because I would have desperately been waiting for my letter on my 11th birthday! I can just see myself staring out the window waiting for my owl.

Buffy Season 8 is good so far, but a maybe just a tad bit too epic. I will see how it all works out.

We will all pile into the TARDIS. It is bigger on the inside! :)

Oh! Patricia Wrede. I read her Book of Enchantments, which was just a collection of short stories, but I enjoyed it. :D

Call all the bookworms~ jk. Haha! That would definitely be fun. :)

The Enchanted Forest Chronicles are all about Cimorene's adventures. If you liked the frying pan story (the last one story in the Book of Enchantments), you will love the chronicles.
