Dreamy December Days Challenge Day 5 & Update

Every day of the Dreamy December Days Read-a-Thon, there is a challenge! Today's challenge was to create a poem from book spines! Check out my little diddy.

One Enchanted Evening
A Kick-Ass Fairy
had a Touch of Temptation
and Made a Masterpiece
of a Dark Talisman

It is a bit rough, but sadly I own way more e-books that physical books. :)

Update

Today was an exciting day! I finished the Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Eight series. It is a bit more epic than I was expecting, but it was fun. I am looking forward to reading Season Nine. I needed to return The Darkest Minds today, so I knew that I had to finish it ASAP. I decided to check, if the e-book price had gone down on Amazon. I discovered that it was only $0.99! I immediately bought it and tweeted the awesome discounted price. Dudes, Alexandra Bracken retweeted my tweet. I was squealing so much that my cat thought I was in distress, so she sat in my lap (she is not a lap kitty) to comfort me.

Great poem! Also, I think I want to read any book called A Kick-Ass Fairy.

You know, that actually could be a good story. Gotta watch out for those fairies after all!

Cute poem! It's fun to be creative with our posts sometimes. And congrats on the retweet; it's always a thrill when someone you admire retweets you.

Isn't it a fun title?! I haven't read it yet, but it sounds like it will be a pretty great memoir.

I am glad that you liked it. I don't have a lot of physical books anymore thanks to my kindle, so it was a bit of an adventure finding books that would work.

Thanks! To be honest, I don't know. I don't have anymore books with verbs! :)

Fairies are definitely tricksters. You gotta look out for them.

Oh my goodness, it was so thrilling. I still get excited when I tweet with authors. I feel like I am hanging out with royalty. Gail Carriger and I talked about our tuxedo cats one day, and I think I was close to spontaneous combustion. :)

Great job! It probably wouldn't be easy to do to come up with book spine poetry. It's a neat theme challenge though.

The spine challenges are tough. I don't have very many physical books anymore and those that I have don't have verbs in the title! :)
