Ho Ho Ho Holiday Read-a-Thon Kick Off Post!

HoHoHo Holiday Read-a-Thon

This is the first time in almost ten years that I have the possibility of a white Christmas! In honor of living some place where is snows, I decided to the Ho Ho Ho Holiday Read-a-Thon. Caffeinated Book Reviews and Bawdy Book Blog are hosting this lovely event.

Book Goals

* I have six books set aside for this event, but I am hoping to read at least three of them. I am excited to finally have an excuse to read some of these little Christmas stories that I have gathered up over the years! (Links go to Amazon for easy purchase! I got all of these for free a few years ago, so if you buy kindle books all the time, you might already have these.)

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (free!)
Christmas without Holly by Nicola Yeager (free!)
A Dixie Christmas by Sandra Hill ($4.61)
A Regency Holiday by Allison Lane, Alicia Rasley, Lynn Kerstan, & Rebecca Hagan Lee ($5.99)
The Secret Christmas Ciphers by Carolynn Carey ($0.99)
White Christmas by Emma Lee-Potter ($2.99)

Non-Book Goals

* Check out all of the participating bloggers' blogs.
* Participate in all of the challenges.

I didn't have the books handy when I was writing the post, and I wanted to make sure that it got posted. Come back in 15 minutes and you will have them! :) I was feeling guilty about not having them listed. :)

Yay for the possibility of a white Christmas!

I hope you'll enjoy your books :) I've actually never read A Christmas Carol.

Happy reading!

Have fun with the holiday books...I don't have any holiday books to read I don't believe. Wait I guess I do but I don't have time to squeeze them in right now.

I hope you have fun reading all these Christmas themed books! I did this last year and loved it, but this year, I won't get to it, so I'll just be reading your updates :-)

Great list - and several of them can overlap with #COYER! Love being able to multitask! Good luck - I'm not even done with my first book yet, not what I had planned at all. There's just too much going on!

Aww, thanks! :) I just pulled out of two read-a-thons for later in this month, because I just couldn't do it. This read-a-thon did work well with #COYER though. :)

I tried back in high school, and I just couldn't get into it. I am hoping that I will make it through this time around!

I picked a couple of holiday novellas for this read-a-thon. It was nice to read a few books that I got for free years ago on Amazon. :)

I try to read one holiday book every December, so I am excited to have the chance to read a few this time around. :) Holiday books really make the time a bit more festive.

I am so much busier this week than I planned too. I think I am going to write out an hour by hour schedule to get me on task.
